CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of Professional Services, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Information Security Auditor to join their Risk Assurance & Digital Trust team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant should hold a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Security/MIS and possess approximately 3+ years of relevant work experience. The successful applicant should be CISA certified or have a willingness to become CISA certified within the first year of employment. A proven track record in applying the principles and practices of Information Security Audits including project management, handling multiple projects is also a requirement. Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages is a must. 

Role Overview: 

A career in our clients Risk Assurance & Digital Trust team will provide you with the opportunity to support clients by addressing IT risks as well as broader organisation-wide business risks. You will be part of a team of high calibre and talented practitioners who possess the necessary business and technical skills enabling them to deliver assessments in the areas of IT Governance, Third Party Assurance control reporting, IT Regulatory compliance, IT Risk assessments and IT Audits as part of external financial and internal audit engagements.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Lead the planning and execution of Information Security Audit projects as part of Internal Audits and External Financial Audits in a variety of industries.
• Evaluate Information Security controls (e.g., identify and assess IT risks and controls) Assess various business operations / processes and the impact that IT security controls have on them and propose the most appropriate solutions/actions to address IT risks.
• Monitor projects’ financials.
• Participate in the delivery of proposals for clients.
• Participate in business development initiatives.
• Keep abreast with current trends in the Risk Assurance space.
• Provide guidance and coaching to more junior members of the team.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Security/MIS.
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to become CISA certified within the first year of employment, if not already certified.
• Proven track record in applying the principles and practices of Information Security Audits including project management of multiple projects.
• Knowledge of IT internal control frameworks, professional standards, and leading practices (e.g. COBiT, ISO27001, ITIL, NIST).
• Confident, articulate, and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language.
