CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of Audit, Accounting, Tax and other related professional services to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Payroll Consultant to join their growing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing payroll services to a portfolio of clients as well as ensuring personal taxation and social insurance compliance. An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field is highly desirable and any professional accounting and/or tax qualification will be considered an advantage. You will possess approximately 4+ years of previous experience within a similar payroll focused role and possess the ability to lead and mentor less experienced members of the Team. Our client has established offices in both Limassol & Nicosia and is keen to hear from applicants who are able to work in either City. An element of Hybrid working conditions is also on offer. 

 

Role Overview: 

This position will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a continuously growing, high calibre and dynamic team of Payroll Services experts providing a high quality and seamless service to clients, helping them meet their compliance requirements while maintaining a low cost base and driving a profitable business.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Engage in a portfolio of payroll services clients and ensure the seamless, effective and accurate delivery of their payroll function on a monthly basis.
  • Deliver personal taxation and social security compliance and advisory services to the Firm’s clients.
  • Participate in international projects advising on tax and social security matters driven from the mobility of personnel in and out of Cyprus.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management or a related field and/or holder of a Professional Qualification.
  • Approximately 4+ years of relevant experience with exposure in payroll review and/or personal taxation is a must.
  • Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead teams and coach more junior members of staff.
  • Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner.
