About the Job
As a Community Manager, you’ll be playing a critical role in helping manage the day-to-day operations of a coworking space and Social Impact Generator (The Base by CyprusInno) in Nicosia while helping contribute to unique startup programming, exciting events, and fostering a vibrant community of entrepreneurs across the island.
This is a full-time, on-site position offered with a one-year employment contract.
What you will do (responsibilities)
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of the co-working including on-site support to members
- Opening and closing duties, including locking doors and prepping space for the day
- Create and manage campaigns to attract new members and engage current members
- Contribute to social media strategy, including content creation and consistent posting to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
- Own Google Suite applications (Gmail, GDrive) & membership database (MailChimp)
- Answer phone calls and manage email inbox, handling incoming requests from members, staff, and guests, and manage inquiries for reservations and bookings of the event space
- Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory, tracking equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Provide support to teams (entrepreneurs) who use the space or are part of programs
What you may do (and some extra paid opportunities when needed!)
- Support booked events when applicable, including prep, logistics, set up, AV support, catering, check-in, post-event breakdown, etc.
- Assist in creating and organizing new, unique in-house events for members and the broader entrepreneurship ecosystem
- Assist with project management of new programs or grants
What you will need to have (requirements and qualifications)

- Great attention to detail and organizational skills
- Great sense of humor
- Great interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Interested in and passionate about social entrepreneurship and innovation, impact, technology, and startups
What would be great to have (but we don’t care if you don’t have it)
- At least one year of project management or administrative experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or any other related field
- You have facilitation, event design & execution experience
- Experience in community and/or social impact programming and program design
- Great written and verbal English skills. Knowledge of Greek and / or Turkish language will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Google Suite, WordPress, Canva, MailChimp
