CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Systems Administrator to join their team based in Limassol. The successful applicant should hold a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and be familiar with various Operating Systems and Platforms. Experience with Databases, Networks (LAN, WAN), Patch Management as well knowledge of System Security (e.g intrusion detection systems) and Data Backup/Recovery is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English is a must. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers and virtualization.
• Create documentation of all relevant Infrastructure ensuring that any relevant processes and procedures for systems in place.
• Provide suggestions on optimizing existing Jira process workflows.
• Analyze, solve and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
• Ensure proper and smooth operation of the CRM systems.
• Install, replace and configure computer hardware, operating systems, trading platforms and applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software conflicts and make repairs or adjustments when necessary.
• Install and troubleshoot of Windows based systems.
• Work with Linux, Microsoft, Amazon AWS and other cloud technologies.
• Assist with the administration of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Perform routine audits of systems and software, and resolve any problems identified.
• Monitor our systems by using monitoring tools.
• Provide guidance, support and training to staff on IT related issues.
• Liaise with external associates for problem solving.

Key Skills/Experience:  

• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Databases, Networks (LAN, WAN) and Patch Management.
• Knowledge of System Security (e.g intrusion detection systems) and Data Backup/Recovery.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
