Job Overview
Finance IT brings together Developers, QA engineers, SAP FI/CO consultants and Operational services members with experience in operating and administrating on-premises infrastructure. Finance IT development team develops tightly integrated custom .Net, SAP UI5 and Python applications based on CFO Function needs. We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our development team to contribute in our effort to maintain and enhance the quality of our systems using state of the art technologies and automating quality assessments.
Reports To
The QA Engineer will report to Finance IT Development Manager.
What will you do?
- Analyze and understand user requirements and define test cases
- Track, analyze and troubleshoot software bugs
- Manual software testing
- Create automated functional and performance tests
- Monitoring and reporting of the test progress
- Participate in design and implementation of test strategy
- Create and maintain user manuals
- Works together with the software development team to enhance and improve software systems
- Work with application support team to resolve user issues
- Provide useful insights and ideas to the team
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the department
- Perform any other duties as assigned
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related fields
- 2+ years of experience as a QA or Software Engineer
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience with UI / API testing
- Programming experience (C#, JavaScript etc.)
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain technical problems to nontechnical employees
- Team player
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Agile methodology experience (Scrum)
- Experience with Postman or similar tools
- Experience with automated testing
- JIRA or similar tools
