CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established develop of Software Solutions to the Legal, Accounting & Financial Services sectors, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Back-End Developer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will work as part of team of Developers and Product Managers to help develop new features and enhancements for our clients product portfolio. You will ideally be educated in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and possess approximately 3-4+ years of experience working with PHP, in particular with the Lavarel PHP framework. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Meet with the Product team (Product Manager & CTO) and discuss the new APIs/features needed to be added to our clients solutions. 
• Follow internal coding guidelines and write well-documented and commented lines of code with the appropriate tests to go with it.
• Creating/Maintaining API responses.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4+ years of hands-on development experience with PHP.
• Experience with Laravel PHP Framework is a must.
• You have worked in a Continuous Integration environment before. We use Git for code management, PHPUnit for tests and Jenkins for running everything before production.
• An understanding of how web application architecture typically works.
• Any previous knowledge or experience working with AWS will be considered an advantage.
• You have worked with a professional IDE before.
• You have experience in creating/extending a JSON API.
• Some basic knowledge of Unix systems and Linux commands is highly desirable.
