Your role at Exness:

The purpose of this role is to strengthen the Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Division of our Legal Department. The core duties of this role are monitoring and taking enforcement action on various online brand violation cases. In addition, the role includes management of our trademark and copyright portfolio (new registrations, renewals, handling oppositions and defences, monitoring and taking enforcement actions on possible infringements) and management of our domain names portfolio.

We are looking for a person with experience and deep interest in protecting IPRs in the global digital marketplace who at the same time is commercially oriented and eager to learn and understand our business and the services we provide. The role will report into the Lead of the Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Division of the Legal Department. The role will be based in Limassol, Cyprus.

You will:

• Monitor and take enforcement action on various online brand violation cases, both manually and via various vendors;

• Management of trademark and copyright portfolio (new registrations, renewals, handling oppositions and defences);

• Management of domain names portfolio;

• Drafting and negotiation of contracts;

• Management and processing of documents and data;

• Development and monitoring of internal procedures;

• Liaise with different stakeholders in and outside the group;

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 2 years legal/paralegal or brand protection experience, either from a law firm or from in-house positions;

• Good theoretical understanding or practical experience of online brand protection;

• Experience from working hands-on in or with international digital companies;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Greek, Chinese, Russian and any other language would be considered an advantage;

• Holder of at least a University degree in Law (LLB) or relevant experience;

• Experience in fintech or high-risk business sectors would be considered an advantage;

• A commercial mindset;

• Excellent communication skills;
