CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Professional Services including Accounting & Audit with offices in Limassol and Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their team. The successful applicant will be fluent in both Greek and English. Candidates working towards either the ACCA or ACA are encouraged to apply, although this is not mandatory. Full training will be given to the successful employee. 

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handling Bookkeeping and Accounting for local and international clients.
  • Correspondence and communication with clients.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES reporting.
  • Communication with clients to ensure a high level of client service.
  • Working alongside and supporting the Audit Team as and when required.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Ideally educated in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field.
  • Very good command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.
  • Part Qualified ACA / ACCA, LCCI Higher or CAT diploma in accounting will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work to deadlines.
  • Strong client service skills are highly advantageous.
