Our client is an international technology provider, headquartered in Cyprus and with a reputable market presence in Europe for the past two decades; due to their continuous growth and development we are now happy to announce that the company is actively searching for a senior professional that would fill the position of Chief Operating Officer.

The selected candidate shall be a seasoned professional with proven exposure to a wide range of business operations. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will influence and impact the entire business, leading it to success.

Key objectives of the role and responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CEO in setting and driving the organizational vision and operational strategy;
  • Translate strategy into actionable company-wide goals, helping to implement performance management and annual operating planning;
  • Oversee daily operations of the Executive Team across all operational functions;
  • Wisely/ strategically manage capital investments and expenses to ensure the company achieves targets relative to growth and profitability;
  • Oversee company’s ongoing operations and policies, promoting the organization’s culture and vision;
  • Ensure that KPIs can be met, by supervising that all resources are in place;
  • Evaluate business, departmental, and individual performance, by analyzing and interpreting various data and metrics;
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.);
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with partners, vendors, key customers, and stakeholders;
  • Adhere to government and market business requirements, enforcing compliance throughout all functions of the company;

Required experience and main characteristics of our preferred candidate:

  • Experience in the Technology industry;
  • 5+ years of experience in executive leadership positions, preferably as a COO;
  • Fluency in English is essential & in Greek – would be a distinct advantage;
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus;
  • Outstanding organizational, leadership abilities & a strong vision for the future;
  • Good understanding of all business functions such as (commercial, customer support, HR, finance, technology, etc.);
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development;
  • Working knowledge of data analysis, performance/operation metrics and preferably in-depth knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office;
  • Aptitude in decision-making, problem-solving & Top-notch management skills;
  • Someone with excellent interpersonal and a true master integrator – ties together all company functions;
