The opportunity

Prountzos & Prountzos LLC is looking to hire one (1) Lawyer in the Dispute Resolution Department and one (1) Lawyer the Commercial and Regulatory Department.

Responsibilities in the Dispute Resolution Department:

• Handling and adjudicating cases, including hearings, before all Courts.
• Handling cases before the Administrative Court and the Tender Review Authority.
• Drafting of pleadings, agreements, interim order applications and other legal documents.
• Handling legal matters and drafting legal opinions in relation to Employment and Administrative Law.
• Drafting legal opinions for Public Corporate Bodies.

Responsibilities in the Commercial and Regulatory Department

• Provide legal assistance in negotiations, drafting, review and implementation of real estate transactions.
• Provide legal assistance, legal opinions, advice and drafting of documentation relating to regulated industries in Cyprus (e.g. energy market).
• Provide legal assistance and legal opinions in relation to the General Data Protection Regulation and Privacy.
• Drafting legal opinions and legal memos on commercial and contract law issues.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of agreements and contracts including the closing and successful implementation of such commercial contracts.
• Provide legal advice on commercial matters.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience
• Very good knowledge of the English language and excellent knowledge of the Greek language.
• Effective use of computers (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
• Good organisational skills, research and capacity to be detail-oriented.
• High level of integrity, responsibility, honesty, discretion and professional accountability.

Holding a professional title of Barrister at Law or LPC will be considered as additional qualification.
