Talent Acquisition Officer, Nicosia – TAO/03/22

On behalf of our client, Zorbas Bakeries, is looking to employ a professional to join their team in Nicosia.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand and communicate the Group’s overall business offerings and market operations
  • Communicate, present and promote the Group’s employee and employment offerings, highlighting the career growth and progression opportunities and workplace culture
  • Work hand-in-hand with all department heads on identifying and understanding their department-specific hiring needs, ideal candidate profiles, critical criteria, their individual interview process and their departments’ plans
  • Source, screen and generate relevant candidates in line with each department’s needs and objectives, in agreement with department heads
  • Maintain involvement in the HR department, taking part in HR projects and processes as and when needed or necessary
  • Source, build and maintain a pipeline of potential and relevant candidates, both directly and in collaboration with external service providers including online job portals, recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), universities and career centers, as well as reputable recruitment and employment agencies
  • Create, update and tailor job descriptions, role specifications and candidate criteria
  • Prepare, post and/or share jobs on all relevant job boards, newspapers, social media sites, universities and recruitment agencies

Position’s Requirements

  • At least 3 years of extensive work experience in a Recruitment role (in-house, external, or within a recruitment/staffing agency)
  • Fluent in Greek and English;
  • Highly experienced and proficient in conducting effective phone, virtual and in-person interviews
  • Highly experienced in conducting different interview types (structured, competency-based, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, listening and questioning skills leading to critical information gathering (both in discussions with department heads, as well as in candidate interviews)
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas, opportunities and solutions
  • A positive, optimistic, energetic and pleasant personality, with a can-do and will-do attitude
  • A strong work ethic, reliability and trustworthiness in handling confidential matters and decision-making
  • University degree in Human Resource Management or related field
  • A Master’s degree in HRM or related field will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) would be a key advantage
