Job Description:

We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our IT Risk Advisory practice, which is among others, a leading service provider to Banking, Insurance and other large corporate clients in a variety of industries, both locally and internationally, helping them transform and sustain their business performance. 

As an IT Risk Professional you will contribute to a broad range of Information Security and IT Advisory related client engagements as well as internal projects, in Cyprus and abroad. Information Security engagements focus on the assessment and/or evaluation of IT systems and the mitigation of IT-related business risks.  Engagements may be either assurance and/or risk advisory in nature, and vary considerably in size and complexity. 

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assistance in the planning and execution of Information Technology Audit engagements, including evaluation of IT General controls.
  • Assistance in Information Security Advisory projects related to the ISO 27001 standard, Business Continuity Management, Cyber Security and IT Policies & Procedures.
  • Assistance in Financial Audit Data Analytics engagements.
     

Candidate Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related fields like Information Security, MIS and Software Engineering.
  • Knowledge, skills and experience in applying the industry best practices in the fields of IT Audit, IT Compliance and Information Security.
  • Knowledge of IT internal control frameworks, professional standards, and leading practices (e.g. COBiT, ISO 27001, ITIL, COSO) will be considered as an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Office Productivity tools is a must.
  • Knowledge of CAAT tools (Computer Aided Audit Techniques) like ACL will be considered as an advantage.
  • Good programming skills in any of the following VBA, .NET, PL/SQL, Java will be considered as an advantage.
  • Professional certifications like CISSP, CISA and/or CISM will be considered as an advantage.
  • Candidate is expected to complete a professional certification relating to the field of Information Security or IT Audit / Assurance within the first year of employment.
