Career Opportunity

On behalf of a client, a rehabilitation centre in Nicosia, which provides support for injury rehabilitation, physiotherapy, as well as the provision of mature citizen facilities, we seek to recruit a General Manager to lead its operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and execute the Centre’s business strategy, after approval by the Board of Directors.

• Monitor key performance indicators and take corrective actions where required.

• Develop new and improve existing internal processes and procedures to ensure the provision of high-quality services.

• Manage the budget of the Centre.

• Maintain and/or further develop professional relationships with relevant governmental authorities, local national health care system providers, and other external associates.

• Keep up to date with key developments and trends related to the health care sector and own role.

• Lead, manage, and develop the Centre’s personnel (incl. physicians, nurses, paramedics and other administrative employees).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other related field.   

• At least 5 years of related experience in managerial positions.

• Experience in the health care sector will be considered an advantage.

• Leadership skills.

• Strong business and market awareness.

• Results orientation, business development and strong negotiation skills.

• Ability to take initiative and exercise good judgement.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.

• Computer literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
