As part of their Accounting and Finance Team, responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis on the card acquiring service. The ideal candidate needs to have strong analysis, reporting and communicating capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

• The Employee’s duties include, but are not limited to:Bookkeeping/Posting of accounting entries in accounting software, ensuring they are in line with the International Accounting Standards
• Reconciliation of daily e-money transactions in cooperation with the Treasury department making sure the customer accounts reconcile with the bank balance
• Prepare the monthly Revenue report and issue invoices accordingly
• Monthly reconciliation of the inter-company transactions/balances
• Monthly reconciliations and analysis of incomings and outgoings of e-money transactions
• Electronic and hard copy filing of any kind of accounting, corporate and banking documents
• Assist the Financial Controller for the preparation of the monthly management accounts and other reports in accordance with management instructions
• Assist at the annual audit engagements to ensure a smooth, efficient audit process
• Quarterly VAT and VIES preparation and reporting
• Report directly to the Financial Controller
• Perform other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelors’ Degree
• Minimum three years’ experience in Accounting.
• Audit Experience will be considered a strong advantage.
• Proven working experience as a reconciliation analyst or data analyst will be considered an advantage
• Very Good Excel knowledge
• Sound knowledge of English (both written and oral)
• Previous experience in banking or accounting will be considered an advantage
