On behalf of our client, an investment firm based in Limassol, we are looking for an experienced Head of Compliance. The successful candidate will ensure the Company implements regulations in all aspects and levels of its business activities as well as provide guidance on professional matters, with goal to preserve the Company’s integrity and high ethical standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement systems and controls to prevent or manage regulatory violations, and ensure such systems and controls remain efficient .
• Draft, amend and implement policies and procedures
• Prepare regulatory reports as well as reports for senior management as appropriate
• Collaborate with all business units to monitor enforcement of internal policies and procedures
• Provide advice and training to colleagues and senior management
• Keep updated with relevant regulatory developments so as to evolve best practices in compliance control
• Assess the Company’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
• Direct communication with competent authorities

Requirements

• Secondary Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
• CySEC Advanced Certification
• 3 years minimum experience in a related field
• Fluency in both English and Greek languages
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to comfortably say “no” when necessary
• Be result-oriented
• Experience in drafting legal documents will be considered an advantage
• Having a diverse academic background will be considered an advantage
• Experience with AML Laws will be considered an advantage
