FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST - NICOSIA

THE ORGANIZATION

On behalf of our client, a highly reputable Organization, leader in its field, we seek to recruit a high calibre professional for the position of Financial Reporting Analyst, to be based in Nicosia.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and providing routine and ad-hoc financial reports, deliver prompt and accurate information through analytical reporting, and thus enable strategic decision making. More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst others:

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting of results including financial metrics and performance indicators (KPIs)
• Analyse key financial information such as revenues, expenditures and cash management, provide financial analysis, study trends and highlight monthly variances
• Monitor operational budgets and proactively highlight and communicate any possible divergence
• Assist with the budgeting process (cash flow, profit & loss)
• Prepare financial statements and monthly management accounts, as needed
• Provide support for the implementation of various improvement initiatives, including process standardization and simplification, financial analysis, research and reporting methodologies
• Interact and cooperate across the Organisation’s departments and act as an interface between the accounting department and other business units to ensure accurate analysis and reporting, and subsequently support the achievement of set objectives
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory requirements, as well as the Organisation’s policies and processes

REQUIREMENTS              

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least three (3) years of proven experience in a similar position
• Good financial reporting and reasoning skills, strong ability to analyse and present complex data
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize and schedule workflow to meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Great attention to detail
• Knowledge of budgeting process will be considered as an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
• Excellent computer literacy, including exposure with computerized accounting software

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
