The team 

The successful candidate will be joining PwC Investment Services (Cyprus), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PwC Cyprus, which is a Cyprus Investment Firm authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). 

Joining our team will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a high calibre and dynamic team of professionals, including investment bankers, wealth advisers and financial analysts providing a variety of services, such as research & analysis, independent investment advice and risk management, adding tangible value to our clients.

Main responsibilities 

• Monitor the Cypriot economy and global markets on an ongoing basis to stay current with any macro/political/sectoral developments
• Collect and analyze information/data from diverse and publicly available information sources in an objective manner, and produce high-quality and to-the-point research reports
• Overall responsibility and accountability for (i) the quality and timeliness of the delivery of research reports and (ii) resource management, technical support for team members and communication of the progress to the Managing Director
• Meet/attend calls with clients to provide an overview of the Cypriot and global economy and relevant developments
• Promote and represent the department both internally and externally and raise awareness of our Research & Analysis services
• Assist and produce presentations and relevant documentation for other PwC Investment Services’ departments
• Support PwC Cyprus in ad hoc tasks, assist in the preparation of various reports, requests or other client projects

What we are looking for 

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or in a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Greek
• Prior relevant experience will be considered an advantage 
• Attention to detail, accuracy and proofreading skills
• Ability to notice economic trends and patterns within data 
• Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment, with an ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results
• Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
• Curious and innovative mindset easily adaptable to new challenges
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, and of Google Docs Editors
• Good Presentation skills
