We are currently looking to recruit a high caliber individual to join our Risk Consulting team in Nicosia. This is a great opportunity for a high caliber professional to work and thrive in a highly challenging advisory role dealing with a wide area of risk, actuarial, solvency and financial modelling as part of a larger engagement team carrying out risk and actuarial engagements.

The Opportunity:

• Overseeing the delivery of a wide range of client engagements, working as part of a project team on client sites
• Providing technical assistance to a number of projects (including transactions support, capital management, actuarial modelling, Solvency II, IFRS 17, finance transformation, financial reporting, reserving and audit support)
• Drafting reports and presentations
• Identifying and developing new and existing business opportunities in all related advisory services
• Attending and taking an active role at client meetings
• Leading a team of advisory actuarial and risk professionals

The Requirements:

• Qualified Actuary
• Excellent knowledge of non-life actuarial modelling and good knowledge of life actuarial
• University degree/Master with a grade of at least 2:1 or equivalent in any of the following disciplines: Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or Risk Management
• Practical actuarial or/and insurance experience of at least 6 years
• Knowledge of using the software R statistics will be considered an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
