MindMarvel is an exciting new startup company operating in online education. We create high-impact online lessons to students around the globe. All lessons are created by in-house creative teams that use video animation and illustration.

Everyone working at MindMarvel is driven by a shared vision to create educational videos that go beyond the boundaries of traditional teaching. We wish to provide an ideal learning environment so that our students can perform to the maximum of their abilities.

We are looking for 2D Animator to join our growing creative team. Experience with basic 3D in C4D will also be required. This is a unique opportunity to help shape MindMarvel’s visual style and aesthetic as we grow our animation and illustration team.

The ideal artist will be able to work with multiple styles of design and be able to contribute creatively to online lessons. The ability to tell stories digitally is a requirement.

We need someone with a passion for storytelling with superb technical skills. We wish to recruit someone with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the capability to collaborate within a team structure and adapt to a frequently changing start-up environment.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Responsibilities

• Work both independently and collaboratively to create beautiful content for online courses.
• Work with other in-house animators, designers and illustrators, educators, voice artists, and sound engineers.
• Ability to design beautiful style frames/boards on projects that require it.
• Ability to pitch ideas efficiently to the team and wider company.
• Ability to elevate a project through to animation once receiving educational scripts.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Standout portfolio and reel.
• Highly skilled in After Effects & Illustrator for 2D. (Be able to animate + comp.)
• Ability to manage and prioritise projects effectively and to meet deadlines
• Skills in C4D, Photoshop & Flash/Animate CC would be advantageous.
• A strong eye for design and narrative structures.
• Ability to work both in Greek and English languages.
