CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Investment Firm with offices in both Limassol and Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Web Developer to join their expanding team. The successful applicant will be based in either Nicosia or Limassol and will possess 2+ years previous experience in a similar web development position and possess knowledge of at least one of the following core technologies; PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS/Javascript and/or JQuery, React and/or Java. Excellent communication skills in English are a must, Greek would be considered a significant advantage.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Receiving training on a custom CMS (Content Management System) and further develop its functionality based on requirements coming from Marketing and Business Development Department.
• Responsible for creating the company’s websites using the custom CMS, landing pages and other online resources.
• To effectively meet deadlines without compromising on work quality.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University Degree in Web Design or related field.
• 2+ years of experience developing websites.
• Knowledge of one the following sets of technologies: PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS/Javascript and/or JQuery, React or Java.
• Good understanding of content management systems.
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
• High level of self-organisation, responsibility, desire to learn and grow.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage.
