Our team consist of IT, Marketing, eCommerce & other high calibre professionals with experience in different industries.

 

Due to continuous growth, we are seeking to an eCommerce Operations Lead to manage and lead the team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Team Training and Coaching (including seniors).
  • Perform systematic or ad hoc appraisals.
  • Initiate and follow up on Improvement Plans if needed
  • Manage staff shifts and schedules
  • Review and approve Vacation Requests
  • Ensure the Team always acts according to internal procedures
  • Support the Ecommerce Operations Team members and be the point of reference of the Ecommerce Operations Team for the other departments.
  • Business Analysis and reporting.
  • Risk Mitigation
  • Translation of regulatory requirements into procedures
  • Strongly contribute to Department Tools/systems optimisation
  • Monitor workload volumes and reassign resources when needed/possible
  • Support Upper Management to set up Quarterly Team KPIs
  • Support the daily operations to meet set KPI requirements.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the operations workload and KPI statuses.
  • Assisting the line manager in any ad-hoc projects/tasks linked to the Ecommerce team scope.
  • When required, assist in the recruitment process.
  • Carry out occasional competitor analysis, and on a recurring basis, suggest improvements to current procedures and tasks, always bearing in mind business needs and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Always maintain internal and external communication at professional and high standards.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 full years of proven experience in a similar role within the high risk, fintech or ecommerce industry.
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly word and Excel.
  • Solid demonstrated working knowledge of at least 3 of the 5 below points:
    • Team management at both hard and soft skill levels.
    • Online payment and/or Risk management systems.
    • Applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Risk Management.
    • Platforms/systems technical optimisation.
  • Other skills:
      • Coaching and Team Leading skills.
      • Meticulous, takes initiative and possesses good analytical skills.
      • Organised, efficient, and looking to succeed within a results-driven team.
      • Attention to details, inquisitive nature and confident in the decision making.
      • Self-starter and able to work without direct supervision.
      • Ability to motivate oneself and others in challenging conditions.
      • Demonstrated willingness to constantly improve.
