Our client, a leading asset management firm specializing in NPL's seeks to employ a Senior Analyst for their office in Athens.  The selected candidate will join Real Estate Strategies Team which provides advice and implementation support to banks and real estate investors with their distressed real estate (REO) and non-performing real estate secured loans (NPL’s), including preparing asset business plans, underwriting NPL portfolios and managing REO monetization strategies.

The Real Estate Strategies Team works closely with Asset Management and Special Servicing Teams to incorporate the full range of expertise in the solutions provided to the clients and to generate business opportunities across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support – assist, as part of a team, in the execution of mandates including real estate business plan preparation, NPL underwriting and REO monetization
• Analysis – preparing financial analysis, budgets, market studies and cash flows for real estate assets/portfolios, and assisting single investors or groups of investors in the due diligence, pricing and underwriting of real estate assets/portfolio
• Reporting - preparing and delivering presentation to financial institutions and investors, tracking the performance of their portfolio and prepares reporting to the management Networking and Communication - building and maintaining relationships with local authorities, working and collaborating with 3rd parties (technical advisors, real estate brokers, developers, city and government officials)

Candidate Profile: 

• Undergraduate degree on Real Estate or related fields (Real Estate Management, Planning and Development, Property Appraisal)
• Candidate or full member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of financial statements, asset technical maturity, asset pricing, planning regulations
• Strong communication, analytical and data organization/interpretation skills
• Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Fluent in Greek and English
