Almond Recruitment on behalf of our client, a global forex company, are currently looking for a Compliance Assistant to join their lovely offices in Limassol. Responsibilities

• Being part of a team of individuals carrying out and overseeing the AML and other Compliance requirements of the firm.

• Undertake background screening checks for individuals and corporations

• Being able to critically interpret findings (i.e., PEP, adverse media, etc)

• Input and/or update as applicable client’s profile on the software tools used by the firm
• Review and periodically update the profile of clients’ risk assessment and economic profile
• Implementing a risk matrix system with eh head of compliance and monitoring it efficiently.
• Collaborate and communicate with other team members and colleagues for compliance related matters
• Monitoring of calls and investigating complaints raised either internally or externally.
• Working with the head of Compliance for monthly/quarterly and annual reports.

Requirements

• Holder of a relevant university degree
• Knowledge of the AML law, EU Directives and Best Practices of the sector
• Knowledge of FSCA and FSA regulations an advantage
• Experience with undertaking KYC and other Due Diligence procedures
• Experience with updating and reviewing the profile of existing clients of the firm
