CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected provider of Corporate Services, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their client accounting team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be a full member of a recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA etc..) and possess a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally providing accounting services to a portfolio of International clients. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Process accounting ledger transactions.
• Perform reconciliations of control accounts including bank, debtor and creditor accounts.
• Prepare reports and analysis within agreed deadlines.
• Prepare management accounts and financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Liaise with auditors to provide appropriate documentation and information as requested to complete external audits.
• Assist other team members and review work of less experienced colleagues.
• Provide assistance with various analysis and special projects as required.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Holder of ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar professional qualification.
• University degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of IFRSs.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Client service mindset.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and computerised accounting packages.
• Working experience with Microsoft Navision and/or CaseWare will be considered an advantage.
• Fluent in English.
