CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Accounting and Audit firm, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team based in Limassol/Paphos. The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional experience providing accounting and bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients. Fluency in Greek & English is a must, knowledge of the Russian language will be considered an advantage.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Recording and filing of accounting records for local and international clients.
• Correspondence and communication with clients.
• Manage his/her portfolio of clients and coordination with the audit team.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Prepare Monthly payroll for clients.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliations.
• Prepare Debtors/Creditors Reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT/VIES Returns.
• Prepare Management Financial Statements.
• Prepare Tax/SIC/VAT registration returns.
• Finalisation of Yearly Trial Balance and Financial Statements.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• University Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position is required.
• Fluency in both Greek and English, verbal and written is essential (Knowledge or Russian language would be a significant advantage).
• IT Literate with working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• Team Spirit, good character and willingness to develop.
• Excellent analytical skills, time management, organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
