Easternmed Asset Management Services Ltd is a leading management company licensed and regulated by CySEC, managing mutual funds and providing MiFID services for investment portfolios on a discretionary and advisory basis.

We are looking to recruit a new employee for the position of Accountant for the offices of the company in Nicosia to provide assistance in the operations of the Company.

Responsibilities:

• Post transactions in accounting system and maintain records of transactions

• Prepare monthly suppliers/vendors reconciliations and bank reconciliations

• Prepare bank payment orders for submission of fax instructions.

• Assist in invoicing and cash collection

• Assist in monthly payroll calculations

• Deal with financial paperwork and filing

• Post transactions in portfolio management software (PMS)

• Calculation of the NAV of the funds under management using the PMS

• Assist in preparation of all tax returns

• Assist in preparation of the company’s budget and financial forecasts

• Execution of any other task related to the duties of the position and requested by the Senior Management or Supervisors of the company

Qualifications

• BSc in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field

• Greek native speaker with fluency in English (Written & Spoken)

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar position or experience working in a similar environment in Fiduciary/ Corporate Services Provider, Finance or any other industry

• Experience gained in a back office of a banking institution or asset manager will be an advantage

• Knowledge of Accounting Principles and procedures

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office Packages) with excellent proficiency in Excel

• Knowledge in using accounting software and databases will be considered an advantage

Remuneration

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, including 13th salary and health insurance.
