CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join their team of professionals based in Larnaca. The successful applicant will ideally be a full member of the ACCA/ACA and possess a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrable experience carrying out audit engagements.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Contributes in the planning of the audit work.
• Checks and prepares audit documentation.
• Performs audit workings and tests to verify the validity, accuracy and completeness of the clients’ accounting information.
• Carries out audit tests in accordance with the audit plan.
• Conducts field work of internal control testing.
• Identifies possible risks or errors in systems and controls.
• Assists in advanced assurance engagements such as management reports, due diligence, financial information analysis and other.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Provides assistance in the preparation of all documents required for the audit: engagement letters, bank letters, company documentation and other confirmation letters as audit evidence.
• Assists in the consultation of Junior Auditors.
• Assists in the supervision of Junior Auditors.
• Reports to Senior Auditors / Audit Managers.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• High School Diploma and/or University degree, ideally in Accounting/Finance.
• Member of the ACCA/ACA.
• 3+ years of relevant Audit experience is a must.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Effective communication skills (both oral and written) in Greek & English.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Pleasant personality with a “can do” attitude.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and in meeting deadlines.
• Highly motivated individual.
