The Role

As a Settlements Intern, you will be working in a team responsible for the settlement of transactions in diverse financial instruments, including equities, bonds, derivatives. Your role will require you to work closely with the team to ensure the timely internal and external settlement of all client trading. This is a very significant role as any settlement delays may lead to the failure of trades executed on regulated stock markets with consequent complaints from clients and potential regulatory action. You will become accustomed using the SWIFT financial messaging system as well as other banking platforms.

Do you have what it takes?

✔ Masters/Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business of 2:1 or equivalent

✔Strong understanding of financial products. Passion for understanding trading and how stock markets operate

✔ Strong computer literacy

✔ Proficiency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of the Russian language will be considered an advantage

✔ Ability to work well under pressure and achieve daily reporting deadlines

✔ Positivity, professional maturity, diligence and team spirit

✔ Eagerness to develop your knowledge of SWIFT and other banking systems and undergo the CySEC Advanced exams
