OVERVIEW

ILIKOS Drug Development Solutions (ILIKOS DDS) is a Cyprus based consulting company with a very strong network of collaborators & Clients across Europe, North America and the META (Middle-East, Turkey & Africa) regions. Its mission is to combine made-to-measure drug development solutions with the highest levels of quality and compliance at the most competitive price point in support of Life Science (academic spinoffs, startups, biotechnology) companies and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs).

ILIKOS DDS is looking for an Account Executive to develop business opportunities. The elected candidate will be responsible for the preservation and expansion of customer base. They will be expected to follow directives, welcome new challenges, be reliable, disciplined and ready to step out of their comfort zone.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  1. Be part of the entire sales cycle from finding a potential Client to securing an award
  2. Engage in lead generation activities & develop script/email templates 
  3. Conduct cold calls and email follows ups according to a prepared outreach strategy
  4. Gather info on:
    • Prospective Client current scope of activities and required services
    • Upcoming corporate milestones, financial position/updates
  5. Strategically update the Client with case studies, press releases and success stories of interest
  6. Set periodic mtgs to assess the relationship, evolution, and forthcoming needs
  7. Remain in regular contact with Clients to understand and meet their needs
  8. Be part of proposal development & contract negotiations
  9. Interact with Sr. Management to ensure Client requests are met
  10. Represent the first Point-of-Contact for Client requests and direct accordingly 
  11. Support Sr. Business Development team with meetings and Client interactions
  12. Perform other duties, assignments, or special projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or Life Sciences (Biology or Chemistry). Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.
  2. One year of experience in sales & technical writing. Experience in the life science industry and knowledge of drug development process will be an asset.
  3. Experience in fast paced, multitask environment; ability to work independently with exceptional organizational skills and discipline.
  4. Very good computer skills (MS office suite with a focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  5. Excellent personal interaction skills, professional telephone, and Client interaction skills
  6. Strong sense of judgment, attention to detail, communication, and customer skill plus the ability to work as a part of a team as well as individual contributor.

  1. Superior communication and written skills in the English language
  2. Strong computer skills (MS office with a focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
