AYK Architects is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Architectural Assistant (under the ETEK scheme) to join our studio in Pafos, to work on a number of exciting new projects. 

AYK Associates Architects L.L.C. is a studio for architecture, urbanism, and design. The studio is mainly focused on design methods and procedures for creating a new paradigm and an innovative approach in architecture industry.

The extensive international experience of the team, in world-class multi-scale projects, reinforces the practice’s aim for establishing a fresh, diverse, and contemporary design product for the urban web of Cypriot cities and abroad. The local and international network of collaborators embraces this idea and pushes the boundaries to this direction.  

The practice is currently based in Pafos, Cyprus.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A professional degree is architecture (UK Part II equivalent).
• Very strong visualization and graphical skills, and a good eye for aesthetics and detailing.
• Ability to develop design options in collaboration with and for consideration of design team.
• Proven experience in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite, Lumion, Enscape etc. Experience in Revit would be beneficial.
• Great interpersonal communication and organizing skills.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in Greek and English - spoken and written.

Required experience:

• The ideal candidate will be eligible for practical experience under the ETEK scheme or will have 1-2 years of work experience in residential and commercial projects.
• Working on both refurbishment and new buildings.

Basic Duties:

• Development of conceptual design ideas and options.
• Development of technical detailing.
• 3D Modeling and Renderings.
