RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Reporting to the Head of Compliance making recommendations for the department by monitoring and assessing the level of compliance risk that the Company faces;
  • Reviews and updates Company's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CySEC rules and regulations;
  • Supports the Head of Compliance with the monitoring and assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures and procedures put in place and designed to detect any risk of failure by the Company to comply with its legislative obligations, as well as the associated risks;
  • Assists with the implementation of the Company’s Compliance Monitoring Program according to the relevant legislation;
  • Implements the Company's compliance monitoring program by carrying out periodic compliance audits;
  • Responds to CySEC requests and liaises with CySEC officers on matters relevant to the Company's compliance function;
  • Examines, evaluates and responds promptly to Client complaints/grievances;
  • Updates Company’s organisational chart to reflect actual reporting lines and Company’s staff members and making relevant notifications to CySEC;
  • Prepares and maintains sufficient records of Company’s correspondence with CySEC and/or any other relevant documentation of the Company;
  • Stays up to date with revisions of the legal framework and makes relevant suggestions to the Head of Compliance;
  • Responds to compliance enquiries
  • Prepares training material for Company’s staff  in relation to compliance function, as necessary;
  • Prepares company’s employees’ applications for CySEC examinations and updates the relevant registry;
  • Assists in the preparation of the annual staff training program;
  • Reviews Company’s agreements and makes recommendations to the Head of Compliance;
  • Carries out any further duties assigned by their line manager.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree in Legal, Finance or Economics field or similar
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Experience within regulated company would be considered an advantage
  • Preferably holding CySEC Certificates of Professional Competence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
