MEDIA & EVENTS COORDINATOR - NICOSIA

THE COMPANY

On behalf of our client, a leading Organization operating in the manufacturing and distribution of FMCGs, we seek to recruit a dynamic and high calibre professional for the position of Media & Events Coordinator, to be based in Nicosia.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will be coordinating the flawless implementation of corporate and brand communications strategy and assuming a hands-on role in concerting the Organization’s media and press relations efforts, as well as digital and social media performance. More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst other:

  • Coordinate the implementation of public relations (PR) plans and strategies
  • Build and execute social media strategy and spending
  • Work with leadership to achieve set targets
  • Operate as main point of contact with external agencies, on a day to day basis
  • Orchestrate content generation, editorial calendars and dissemination across corporate Social Media channels to build meaningful connections with target audiences
  • Compose and edit press releases, articles and interviews, social media posts, speeches, website content and other PR copy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media to drive positive media coverage and enhance corporate awareness
  • Collaborate with external experts and peers, ensuring unified messaging across all channels
  • Ensure accurate and on-time responses to Media and Social Media queries
  • Plan, coordinate and implement media relations events and campaigns
  • Ensure that all corporate platforms are up to date and have engaging content
  • Understand and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices
  • Supervise daily publicity monitoring
  • Act as a gatekeeper of key corporate reputation indicators
  • Execute and support the Organization’s major CSR events and any other events that promote strategic objectives

 REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Communication or in any other related discipline
  • Master’s Degree in a related discipline will be considered as an advantage
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of proven professional experience in corporate communications, project management, execution of PR campaigns and social media
  • Experience in event organization and agency handling
  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of media and social media landscape, as well as social analytics tools
  • Positive attitude, results oriented with advanced multitasking, organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
  • Adept knowledge of social media platforms
  • Excellent computer literacy, strong knowledge of virtual collaboration tools

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
