Primary job responsibilities/accountabilities
- Ability to obtain and present appropriate audit evidence, address the relevant audit objectives, and demonstrates its relevance to the rest of the audit.
- Document the results of their audit work in accordance with ISA Audit Methodology, regulatory requirements, ad using applicable IT systems and tools.
- Identify audit differences and issues and escalating as appropriate.
- Demonstrate knowledge of prevailing accounting standards, accounting disclosure requirements, and applying these to allocated work.
- Attend and apply all audit and accounting within the set deadlines.
- Ability to coach staff effectively during fieldwork.
- Preparation of Financial Statements and Management Accounts.
- Managing a portfolio of clients.
- Budgeting and organisation of the Portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Working experience in Accounting/Audit Software –Caseware.
- Knowledge of Accounting Software Intelisoft will be considered as advantage.
- Knowledge in bookkeeping and general accepted accounting principles.
- Knowledge of best practice reporting and International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Experience of leading audits of varying sizes across a range of industries.
- Fluency in both the Greek and English Languages.
- Computer literate – excel, word, power point.
- Knowledge to CY Tax and VAT.
- At least 4 years in auditing and accounting, preferably with a large professional services audit firm.
