Data Analytics Officer, Nicosia – DAO/01/21

Our client, a credit acquiring institution, is currently looking for an Analytics Officer to join the newly established Monitoring and Reporting team in Nicosia.

Positions' duties and responsibilities

• Analyzing data and processes, mainly for KPI generation and invoicing
• Identifying business needs and proposing solutions
• Designing and generating reports via data visualization/business intelligence tools
• Identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends or patterns in data sets
• Preparation of reporting and presentation material
• Reconciliations and validity checks

 Persons' specifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree related to Data analytics / MIS / Mathematics / Statistics
• Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field
• Work experience in the banking sector and understanding of arrears functions will be considered as an advantage
• Experience with data visualization/business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Oracle BI) is a must
• Advanced user of MS office (especially in excel)
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to deliver outcomes quickly, with constrained time frames
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent command of the English language
