Senior Systems Engineer, Nicosia – SSE/01/21

Our client a well-established company operating in the field of Information Technology providing integrated IT solution to clients of public and private industry wishes to enrich its team.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and overview, in cooperation with the corresponding department, the installation of new systems and platforms to public clients
• Monitor and ensure for the smooth and efficient operation of all systems installed in clients including governmental portals and platforms safeguarding their on-going operation and expected performance
• Manage critical problems and lead their resolution based on the timeframe agreed in the terms of the agreement, using resources of other departments
• Communicate and coordinate with the corresponding support team of our business partner abroad ensuring for their support in complex and difficult problems
• Explore new or updated technologies for clients and propose to the Top Management

Position’s Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering or any other relevant field
• 5-8 years of working experience as systems engineer or any other similar role
• Very good knowledge of:
  • Oracle administration installation etc
  • AIX
  • IBM BAW platform (business automation platform) administration installation. IBM certification will be considered as an advantage
  • Microsoft windows server administration installation etc
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong Interpersonal skills
