A leading international technology firm are looking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer, due to company growth and expansion of the department.
Responsibilities
- Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Able to provide accurate feedback to the rest of the team with regards to customer requirements and required changes
- Troubleshooting malfunctions of systems, network hardware and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services and be able to accurately diagnose root cause
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science / Computer engineering or related field
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role
- Knowledge and understanding of Systems and Networking
- Fluency in both Greek and English
