CORE JOB INFORMATION

Department           : Room Service

Working hours       : Full time – 40 hours per week – 5/6 days per week

Position reports to : Room Service Supervisor, Head Waiter

 

PROFILE

The Mini Bar Attendant will ensure that the mini bar in each of the Hotel’s guest room remains fully stocked and in immaculate condition during the guests’ stay, that product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to all Hotel guests, whilst ensuring compliance with food health and safety regulations.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter all guest rooms to stock and replenish missing items in all mini bars; ensure products are not expired, replace as necessary; ensure rotation of all products,
  • Inspect, move and clean the mini bars in accordance with departmental procedures,
  • Maintain, track and complete daily worksheet of mini bar stock,
  • Raise checks and ensure accurate billing to guests’ folios,
  • Maintain the mini bar pantry/stockroom in terms of par stock, stacking and cleanliness,
  • Maintain assigned mini bar carts,
  • Raise store requisitions, obtain stock and store in the assigned pantry/stockroom,
  • Properly complete, maintain and track inventories,
  • Respond to guests' needs and requests, resolve issues/complaints/problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service,

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High school graduate or equivalent,
  • Previous experience in a similar Job role or previous experience in catering/hospitality sector,
  • Having previous experience in a similar luxury hotel will be considered an advantage,
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems/handheld POS,
  • Exceptional customer service skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written),
  • Must speak, read, and write English; knowledge of additional languages (Greek, Russian, etc.) will be considered an additional advantage.
