GROUP HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER - NICOSIA

THE COMPANY

On behalf of our client, a leading Group of Companies operating in the manufacturing and retail sector, we seek to recruit an experienced and high calibre professional for the position of Group Human Resources Manager, to be based in Nicosia.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will have the responsibility of directing the Human Resources function, ensuring successful implementation of HR solutions to meet business requirements, while contributing to the development and delivery of Group wide HR initiatives. More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst others:

  • Develop, articulate and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures that address the strategic needs of the Group
  • Communicate strategies, Company’s ambition and values to Senior Management and staff and strengthen people’s motivation and engagement through targeted activities
  • Maintain and update all HR policies that support the Company’s strategy (Employee Handbook, Remuneration Policy, Recruitment Policy, Succession Planning, Reward System and KPIs)
  • Handle recruitment needs and source, evaluate and recruit talented professionals, that will fulfil the related manpower needs
  • Effectively facilitate the performance evaluation process and consolidate the annual results into structured reports so as to enable decision-making at the Senior Management level
  • Cooperate with the rest of the Management Team and line managers, to assess learning and development needs and design the implementation of staff learning and development strategies
  • Lead the development and implementation of salary and benefits programmes and policies
  • Prepare HR related reports with meaningful indicators and provide decision support to Senior Management
  • Allocate and monitor the budgets for HR operations, to ensure compliance with the budgetary limits
  • Maintain updated and detailed employee records
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Promote a culture of high ethical standards so as to attract and retain employees
  • Keep abreast with any new developments related to human resources such as trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or in a related discipline
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or in a related field will be considered as an advantage
  • At least seven (7) years of professional experience in Human Resource Management, in a reputable organization preferably in the manufacturing or retail industry
  • Demonstrated experience in leading management teams and applying management by objectives 
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and build strong relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Impeccable networking and representation skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the existing legislation and best practices related to his/her duties
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer literacy 

REMUNERATION
