SBGT Solutions Limited, a new business in Cyprus, is currently seeking to employ a Site Reliability Engineer for their operations in Limassol. Your role as a SRE is to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Product updates deployment;
• Coordination of software development and delivery processes with operation;
• Continuous monitoring and improvement of application performance and availability;
• Development and maintenance of documentation up to date;
• Optimization of the entire technological stack at various levels, from program code to data center, selection and implementation of new technologies;
• Management of IT infrastructure as code;
• Identification of production problems, control of their elimination;
• Integrated IT-infrastructure management;
• Automatic backup of the environment;
• Automation of administration and server configuration processes;
• Definition and collection of indicators of operational reliability of applications, continuous measurement and assessment of their compliance with SLA.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with both software development and Linux system administration/DevOps for complex systems operations
• Proficient in the following languages C#/Golang
• Experienced in Cloud technologies, Serverless (Cloud functions, Lambdas), IaaS, PaaS (AWS,GCP, Azure, Digital Ocean)
• Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with Load testing and Performance testing of SaaS applications and platforms
• Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
• Experience in DB administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Containers, Ansible, Jenkins
• Microcervices, SOAP architecture
• Excellent knowledge of git, bash, SSH, Atlassian products
• Prometheus, Graphana
• ELK
• Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Experience in high-load projects, hot server updates
• Strong commitment and sense of urgency
• Outstanding quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Diligent and detail-oriented person
• Able to lead complex projects in a high-paced environment
