The Financial Services (FS) Risk & Regulation team of our Risk Advisory is expanding and we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and high caliber professional to join us at the level of Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager in our Nicosia Office.

The Role

The successful candidate will be part of the FS Risk & Regulation team and will be involved in, among others:

  • advising the top management of leading international clients in the financial services industry with emphasis on MiFID Firms, Fund Managers, Private Banks as well as the Public Sector (Ministry of Finance etc) and Sovereign Wealth Funds  
  • advising clients in strategy, financial, regulatory and business process risks
  • driving concepts and ensuring implementation of the solutions for our clients within the context of amongst others: Governance, Risk, Treasury and Finance transformation (e.g. enterprise risk management) or regulatory requirements (e.g. MiFID, EMIR, AIFMD, UCITSD, MAD, SFTR, AML etc.)
  • evaluating and describing the reliability and utility of source information
  • supporting senior management in developing and winning new business, including assisting with proposal development

In this role, the successful candidate will be expected to act as an individual contributor, delivering high quality work with guidance from senior team members.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree from a reputable University in Science fields such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or in Business Administration fields such as Finance, Economics or Strategy or in any other related disciplines
  • 4-6 years of industry experience or professional services experience in the abovementioned areas
  • CySEC Advanced examination certificate will be considered an advantage
  • Any experience in visual communication of analysis (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Power BI) will be considered an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong multitasking, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
