CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding iGaming company with offices in Larnaca, we are seeking to recruit a Sports Trader to join their team of professionals. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2+ years of relevant trading and odds compiling experience and will ideally be highly knowledgeable on various sports betting markets, in particular Tennis and Basketball.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• To compile sports odds and pro-actively trade for the basketball/Tennis products in particular.
• To monitor liabilities and make necessary price changes to ensure maximum profitability.
• Analysis of profit/loss and general betting behavior from shops/clients.
• Monitor competitors’ offers.
• Monitor prices and control liabilities.
• Effectively profile the customer base.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• Ideally educated to Degree Level in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field.
• 2+ years of previous and demonstrable experience odd compiling and ideally trading within the Sports Betting market.
• Expert knowledge on various sports betting markets with special focus on basketball or Tennis would be considered a significant advantage.
• Must be a strong team player.
• Must be a meticulous person with a keen interest in sport.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain concentration for prolonged time periods.
• Able to work on a shift pattern rotation.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
