The client
On behalf of our client, a Company that manages Non Performing Loans (NPLs), we are looking to recruit Legal Recoveries Officer for its offices in Nicosia. 

About the Role
The Legal Recoveries Officer reports directly to the Legal Recoveries Manager. 

 
Duties and Responsibilities 

• Non-performing retail/corporate portfolios legal handling.

• Implementation of approved legal actions policy, with emphasis on enforcement and asset liquidation procedures.

• Specialized legal handling for individuals’ bankruptcy cases.

• External Legal partners supervision and coordination.

• Performance monitoring through KPIs.

• High-quality communication with Law Firms’ representatives.

• Efficient and accurate legal reporting.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Certified lawyer. Further education in the field of Banking Law will be considered an advantage.

• At least 5 years of proven professional experience in a similar position, preferably in the Banking sector.

• Agile mindset – able to work both independently and as part of a team to navigate ambiguity and drive sustainable performance.

• Strong communication and negotiation skill with a proven ability to work in cross functional teams.

• Ability to take the initiative and take accountability in an entrepreneurial environment - passionate about the success of the business.

• Fluency in English and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Location
The position is for the client's offices in Nicosia
