Civil Engineering Office, located in Nicosia, is seeking to employ a senior civil/structural engineer.

Duties:

• Elaboration of structural design studies for building and other structures.
• Supervision of the construction of building and other structures.

Required qualifications:

• Registered member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ΕΤΕΚ) or of the respective chamber of other EU member country.
• Master Degree with expertise in earthquake or structural engineering.
• Minimum three-year experience in the structural and earthquake-resistant design of building and non-building structures and in their corresponding supervision of construction.
• Experience in the structural and earthquake-resistant design of reinforced concrete and steel buildings.
• Experience in the utilization of modelling, analysis and design software (CAE software).
• Very good knowledge of English language.
• Excellent knowledge and familiarity in the practical implementation of Eurocodes.

Additional optional qualifications:

• Experience in the utilization of CSi softwares (SAP2000, Etabs, Safe).
• Experience in the utilization of Greek or other European modelling, analysis and design software.
• Awareness in the energy efficiency design of buildings.
• Experience in environmental impact assessment surveys.
