QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT - ACC/04/2020, NICOSIA

Company Description:

On behalf of our Client, a private corporate body, we seek to recruit a high caliber individual to join our Client’s Accounting and Finance Department in Nicosia.

Job Duties:

Reporting to the Accounting and Finance Director, the successful candidate will be involved in the overall accounting cycle, including accounting entries and ensuring the compliance with all financial controls and procedures. Moreover, and not limited to, the successful candidate will assist in the preparation of forecasting, budgeting and any other financial ad-hoc reports, prepare quarterly management accounts, including P&L's, balance sheets, cash flows and will handle Tax/VAT and payroll matters.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance Business Management or in any other discipline

• Newly qualified member of a professional accounting body (ACA/ACCA/CPA or any other relevant professional accounting body)
• Working experience in a similar position
• Practical implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as adopted by the EU and Cyprus Company law
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office) with experience in using accounting software
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English Languages
