A Financial Services company, providing output to various FX companies and brands, is looking to have a smart, high-energy Accountant/Executive Assistant who possess critical-thinking and a “can-do” approach.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advanced Bookkeeping including an understanding of the process behind the entries, and the ability to communicate it clearly to the client. Crypto/FX experience considered a plus.
  • Generating multi-layered analytical reports in excel using consolidated data from various BI platforms and the bookkeeping records.
  • Cross-functional interaction with outsourced Operations functions.
  • Review and documentation of contractual terms and understanding their application on the client’s policies.
  • Conducting thorough research on various topics, coming up with the conclusions and being able to present it clearly to the client.
  • Developing day-to-day schedule and prioritization of activities, handling calendaring and proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts; serve as the primary point of contact for all questions related to the management team's schedule.
  • Accurately recording minutes from meetings.
  • Ability to modify complicated agreements with third parties and to discuss their terms on a legal level.
  • Provide general administrative support, including but not limited to meetings preparations, scheduling, telecom coordination, etc.

 

Key Requirements

  • BA degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Highly accurate and detail-oriented – is a must.
  • Inter-personal skills at a “Tier 1” level – is a must.
  • Adaptable – you must be comfortable in an ever-changing eco-system of finance and accounting issues and projects.
  • Accustomed to multitasking, prioritizing and meeting multiple tight deadlines.
  • Clear and thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures. The ability to interpret legal verbiage is a plus.
  • Able to learn on your own.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a role
  • In-depth understanding of complicated Excel formulas.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are essential (both written and oral).
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks.
  • Incredibly proactive and able to take initiative and work efficiently with little direction.
