Role:Senior Electrical Engineer for the construction of one of the most prestigious high-rise residential Towers projects ever attempted in Cyprus responsible for the overall supervision of the project Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation Control construction activities, reporting all updates to the Construction Manager.

The successful candidate must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to manage, supervise and direct the project Electrical sub-contractors and all relevant company direct personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the Project Electrical works in accordance with the contact documents, design package, schedule and budget. The positionrequires complete knowledge of the Electrical, Electronic and Automation Control Systems construction activities in design & procurement stages, construction execution to project completion and testing and commissioning of luxury high-rise buildings of at least 30 floors tall.

Main Responsibilities:

• Construction Site MEP supervision for appropriate planning and coordination of all Electrical Systems Subcontractors for the timely execution of the assigned project within planned time frame, budget and scope or works without any sacrifice to quality.
• Managing and directing receipt and installation of Electrical materials and Equipment for the successful completion the project.
• Ensure that all productivity targets are met by the Electrical Subcontractors and their execution teams of the site.
• Shows excellent leadership, good communication and negotiation skills in handling the project Electrical consultants, Electrical sub-contractors and other site Electrical related personnel resources.
• Ensure that the company’s attention to detail on construction quality as well as job site safety and environmental practices are met throughout the construction execution phase.
• Investigate potentially serious situations and defaults on the site and assist the PM team in implementing corrective measures.
• Identify, estimate, propose changes to construction schedules, methods and design whenever initial constructability is not feasible.
• Represent PM team in project MEP and construction site meetings.
• Provide support to the CM and PM upon request and perform any additional duties in relation to this expertise as assigned to him/her.

Necessary requirements:

• University Degree, BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven relevant experience as Electrical Engineer/Section Engineer for at least 10 years in the building construction industry on a similar nature projects in regards to size, magnitude, complexity and value. Experience in Electrical Installations, Electronic and Automation Control Execution Works for high-rise luxury residential projects is a must.
• Strong leadership with good planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Has proven work history of safety executing projects on time, within budget and in accordance with quality standards.
• Knowledge of the construction scheduling and planning concepts.
• Ability to read and understand MEP Electrical & Electronic specifications and design requirements.
• Ability to direct, plan and supervise the implementation of the Electrical designs to all construction phases of construction projects.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with site employees, engineers, subcontractors.
• Ability to learn and work independently in a fast paced environment
• Fluency in both Greek and English languages both written and oral
• Excellent Computer Skills, MS Office, Internet & Outlook Express
• Must be analytical and have attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver successfully under pressure
