COMMERCIAL MANAGER -CM/11/2019, NICOSIA

Company Description:

On behalf of our Client, a well-established vehicle rental company, we are seeking to recruit a high caliber professional for the position of Commercial Manager, to be based at our Client’s offices in Nicosia.

Job Duties:

Reporting to the Country Manager, the successful candidate will overall be responsible for managing all aspects of the trading business to achieve budgeted sales and profit targets as well as liaising with all other departments to ensure smooth running and efficiency of the wider business. More specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting objectives and KPIs and executing priorities across the teams, coaching and developing talent within the organisation as well as providing leadership and direction to the sales team. Furthermore, he/she will be responsible for taking country marketing and brand awareness initiatives, assisting in increasing sales through winning new clients, either with existing products and channels or through new distribution channels, providing effective relationship management with existing clients, assisting in potential and existing clients’ risk assessment and making recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation. Finally, he/she will be responsible for preparing annual budgets, controlling pricing and margins to achieve budgets and advising on corrective action if required as well as providing regular reporting to the Group’s management on country’s performance and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management or in any other related discipline
  • At least 3 years as a Commercial Business Unit Manager or similar role
  • History of complex strategic sales and business development achievement
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite applications)

  • Excellent numerical and analytical thinking
  • Strong, assertive decision-making with a balanced professional approach that delivers aggressive, sustained revenue growth
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple assignments efficiently
  • Professionalism, people-orientation and positiveness
