CareerFinders, on behalf of our client an established and very well-known Retail & Entertainment Centre in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a highly accomplished, capable and suitably well-qualified Financial Controller to lead their finance function. The successful applicant will be a full member of the ACCA/ACA/CPA and ideally have a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrable experience in a financial leadership role.  

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Ensure the proper functioning of the company's Finance Department.
• Timely and correct keeping of all accounting records, including tax liabilities.
• Monitoring, checking and processing of all financial information.
• Preparation of the annual Financial Statements of the company.
• Preparation and monitoring of budgets (budget forecast, cash flow projections etc…)
• Preparation of Management Accounts & monthly reports to the Board of Directors.
• Mentoring, development and training of team members within the Finance Department.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• Educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Member of one of the recognized Bodies of Professional Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA).
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position or at least 5 years’ experience (post qualification) in an audit firm.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English.
• Strong PC skills.
• Integrity of character, responsibility, initiative, reliability, administrative and organisational capacity.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with the employees, staff, customers and generally all of the company's partners.
