Our client is one of the global leaders in Financial Trading.  With long-standing success, and has won many awards, they have established themselves as the global broker with the local touch, surpassing 1,000,000 registered accounts – with more traders joining every day.  At the moment, we are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the leaders team in Limassol

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and check information from HR for each employee
  • Determine the right payroll amount by calculating overtime, deductions etc.
  • Calculation of sales staff commissions
  • Input information to payroll system for local companies
  • Communicate with payroll providers to obtain payroll files for foreign offices
  • Prepare payroll files and payments and ensure payroll funding is in place
  • Obtain confirmation of payroll files from relevant senior officers
  • Handle and execute payments and payroll files
  • Send monthly payslips to employees
  • Extract and pay PAYE and Social insurance contributions monthly
  • Answer employees' questions about payroll
  • Register employees to Social insurance office
  • Collect IR59 forms and update the payroll system
  • Assist employees to obtain a Tax Identification Number
  • Check Provident Fund calculation and ensure payment is done monthly
  • Provide monthly payroll entry to accountants for posting
  • Prepare and submit IR7 form to taxisnet as applicable
  • Prepare various monthly and annual payroll reports

Candidate Profile: 

  • Previous working experience as a Payroll Specialist/officer for 2-3 years
  • BSc/BA in economics/accounting/business or similar relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles and payroll best practices
  • Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
  • Great attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office and payroll software
  • Working knowledge of Easysoft Payroll Pro will be considered an advantage
  • Exquisite math and numerical skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
