CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International company operating in the Logistics sector, we are seeking to recruit a Russian-Speaking Internal Accountant to join their expanding team of professionals based in Nicosia. The successful applicant must be fluent in both Russian & English and have a minimum of 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounting records for the company.
• Reconcile invoices, identify discrepancies, post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Cash management, posting of payments etc...
• Filing (digital and physical), mailing, and other duties as needed.
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports for management.
• Assist team in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings, and annual audits.
• Preparation of income tax and VAT returns.
• Any other duties allocated by the Directors of the Firm.

 
Key Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in Russian and English is essential.
• LCCI Higher or similar qualification and/or Diploma/Degree in Accounting.
• Experience in preparation and review of IFRS financial statements is a preference.
• Experience in preparation/filing income tax return and VAT in Cyprus, experience in Cyprus income tax and VAT legislation is a preference.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Be able to work independently, with ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of commitment with a drive to deliver results under pressure.
• Team player with very good interpersonal skills.
• Holder of a EU passport and eligibility to work in Cyprus without any restrictions.
